@Dr.Graves : You unlock Mecha Support by defeating the Mets in an Intro Field (ex: Gentle Countryside) while there's 8 of them.
After clearing the mission, the number of Mets on the field increase by 1.



Once you clear the round you obtain Mecha Support.

My best strat is to bring someone with very good defense, like Hard Man. Using Dr. Light here helps a lot. Here's all the things that were necessary
Hard Man
Stars: Max
Item: Reverse Module
- Astro Crush
- Buster Shot
- Buster Charge
[Any Space Core Robot] (could use as backup)
Stars: Any
Item: Field Booster
- put anything here
I think I got lucky by Yamato Man using Rising Cutter (which boosted defense because reverse mod) which didn't make much of a dent every hit, giving me a win.

Pirate Man can easily work without water as he'll just never form a bubble. If only there were something that could let the water rise and fall at will, letting Pirate Man use his AI as normal.

Ground Man, I'm not too confident in but could still possibly work. He's most likely gonna need some "detection" for the digging to work.

@Phannfield : Go to your robots and select any robot you desire. Under that robot is a heart under them. When clicked, you mark them as your favorite. They'll now appear above all other robots when preparing for battle, making it easier to select who you want to send into battle.

@testing123 : Bonus Field 2? That's the Master Field, where there are only robots, not bosses. I don't remember if you can even unlock a Robot Master on the Master Field but I'll go check later.

I had a similar issue.



A level I made with only 1.7 assets (Buster is an exception) has Yamato Man in it, yet his mugshot didn't appear on my level. Strangely, the Boss Suppressor didn't make a sound either. I deleted and placed Yamato Man again and he appears now.

Might be fixed if you place him back and save.

Version 1.7.2 is out and the level upload cap just keeps increasing. It's now at 75 levels! Some bug fixes and an addition to the Bunby Catcher everyone loves them.

@Sorren : Oh yeah that. About that, while version 1.7 was still in development, someone decided to repeatedly spam levels over. Once even breaking the server. So to not have that happen again, the developers decided to add a cooldown to level uploads.
