So, I had this idea in mind for quite some time now, and I figured now would be a fun time to start it. There's no story since it's just kicking the of an overpowered monstrosity while simultaneously getting your own kicked by said overpowered monstrosity, so I'll just get straight to the rules:
1. Everyone must create their own base character. Each character has 30 stat points to give to each of the stats below: Energy - The amount of damage your character can take. Every point towards this stat is multiplied by 20. Weapons - The amount of weapon energy you have. Every point towards this stat is doubled. Attack - The strength of your attacks. Defense - How much is reduced from attacks dealt to you. Speed - Dictates turn order.
Each player must also give their character the following:
Icon - A mugshot to represent your character. (Optional) Core Type - The element of which your character is strongest with. Attacks of this element are 50% stronger and cost 2/3 of Weapon Energy. Sub Type - The element of which your character is second strongest with. Attacks of this element are 25% stronger and cost 3/4 of Weapon Energy. (Optional) Weakness - The element of which your character is weak against. Attacks of this element are 50% stronger against you. Can have up to 2 and no less than 1. Resistance - The element of which your character is strong against. Attacks of this element are 50% weaker against you. Can have up to 2 and no less than 1. 3 Abilities - Can be either of your own creation or chosen from the Weapons Library. See Rule #11 for more detail.
These type-based features can be ANY elemental type featured within MMRPG itself. This INCLUDES types such as Empty, Energy, Light, etc. 2. At the start of each month, a new raid boss appears. This raid boss will be the same level as the highest-level player and will have the same stat points available to them, except that the raid boss will have infinite health. 3. The goal of the game is to deal as much damage to the Raid Boss as possible. The person who deals the most damage to the raid boss by the end of the month becomes the next raid boss. 4. After every 1,000 damage, the multiplier of the raid boss' stats increase, making them stronger. 5. If a player loses all their health, they will be unable to act for one turn; Afterwards, they will return to battle with all health and weapon energy, but they will also drop all stat buffs/debuffs that were placed on them. 6. Players will recover 1 Weapon Energy on each turn; All players will also have a 0-WE Buster Shot weapon that they can use to conserve WE, or for if they are out of Weapon Energy. 7. If a player does not post an action after ~24 hours since their last post, their turn will be automated. 8. After a raid boss leaves, the player with the most cumulative damage will become the next raid boss. Raid Bosses are created via private messages to me either through the site or through Discord so that their elemental weaknesses and resistances can remain hidden. 8.5. You can choose to either create a new raid boss or reuse/add features to an old one. 9. While participating as the raid boss, the user will be unable to participate in the raid as their none-raid character. 10. Additionally, cumulative damage for each player is converted into experience points. Players with enough experience will level up upon being disabled or reaching the end of the raid, receiving: -10 more stat points that they can give to any stat they desire -Another new weapon every even-numbered level (created or library) -And that's it lol 11. Weapons have five aspects: Core Type - 1-2 elements that control what Weaknesses or Resistances are triggered. Cost - How much Weapon Energy is required to use the move. Accuracy - The chance a move has of succeeding. Power - The strength of a move. Limit of 15 Damage, +15 more per 2 WE cost Effect - Any additional effects the move can have (multiple hits, stat changes, etc.) Limit 1, +1 per 4 WE cost. See Page 1, Post #4 for additional detail. 12. These events are typically made with no story to them; However, if you wish to provide story and/or dialogue to make things more interesting, feel free. 13. Keep in mind that everything here is mostly experimental at the moment; If there is ANYTHING that you feel that needs rebalancing, do NOT be afraid to tell me so.

I have a few questions regarding ability creation. - If a move's types match both of a character's cores, does the move get 75% damage increase and cost decrease? Or just 50%? - What counts as an effect? As in, how potent can an effect be before requiring another 4 WE cost to increase the effect further? (Mainly regarding stat buffs and debuffs, multi-hits, vulnerability increases like Bubble Spray or Oil Shooter, and field effects if those exist) - Do abilities have to pick between a damage boost or effect at a WE cost of 4 or more? For example, if I make a ability that costs 8 WE, can I give it both up to 75 damage and 3 effects, or do I have to pick between up to 75 damage and 1 effect, up to 45 damage and 2 effects, or up to 15 damage and 3 effects? - Also, this might be obvious, but characters must have an equal amount of weaknesses and resistances, right? Because it's not specified in the post.
@Lushkk : - Huh. I actually haven't thought of that.
You know what, why not. 75% damage boost it is. But you only get a 50% cost decrease. - Basically, anything that isn't "deal damage" is an effect. - You can choose both. - You are allowed to have 1 weakness and 1 resistance, or you may have 2 resistances and 1 weaknesses. You CANNOT have less than 1 of either, however.

After mulling it over (and looking closely to how the moves are treated in-game), I have decided that:
> Stats can be raised/lowered by 1 stage at 0 WE, +1 more per 4 WE, with an obvious limit of 5 stages as per the game's limitations. > Attacks can hit twice with a 0 WE cost, and +2 more time every 4 WE. > Alternatively, the number of times an attack can hit can depend on higher stat, lower stat, or level. > However, you cannot add multipliers for number of hits on top of any of these factors regardless of WE cost (Ex. Cannot hit 2 times per level, cannot hit more times based on higher attack and/or lower defense) > You may recover up to 25% HP per 4 WE, or group heal full party by up to 10% per 4 WE. > Setting a WE Cost for WE recovery moves would be redundant, so there will be no limit to how much it can recover; However, due to this nature, you cannot stack other status effects with this one. > While this may only apply to raid bosses, I will add that any moves designed to hit multiple/all targets at once will NOT be able to hit multiple times. > Area of Effect (AoE) situations (Ex. Oil Shot, Galaxy Bomb) may only either boost/weaken damage for one element, deal damage for 1 turn, or strengthen/weaken damage for 1 turn at 0 WE, and can either increase one of the three previous mentions or have another one of those three effects every 4 2 WE.

Okay, might be early, but I think I know who to bring to the occasion... though you might not know who it is. Sword Slice - A weak, 0 WE attack that's essentially a nerfed, yet somewhat reliable version of cutter shot Element(s): Cutter Accuracy: 92% Power: 10 Damage
Necro Blade - An attack exclusive to Alice, that swallows up all WE she has, along with a twelfth of her health to cause a poisonous wave of darkness to harm and blind her foe come slashing out from her blade. Element(s): ShadowCutter Cost: 13-??? WE, 1/12 of HP Accuracy: 75% Power: 20 Damage Effect: Causes poison and blindness

@m3gam3n : Well, your stat total is either 52 or 39.5, which are both too high, and Galaxy Bomb doesn't have defined stats in the Weapons Library, so you'll have to create it yourself. Edit: Star Crush(I'm assuming you meant Star Crash) is also not in the Weapons Library. If you didn't know, the Weapons Library is in a link at the bottom of the original post.

Bio: Calx, formerly known as Ali Calx, used to be a member of Singularity until he decided he was sick of nearly everyone else's *REGGAE'D* and left. An expert of fighting on the waves, Brickell fights atop her custom made battleship, which has the uncanny ability to dock/sail in almost any body of water, appearing in both the open sea, right down to small bodies of water such as swimming pools and fountains, which proves a powerful too against the rubber menace. More recently, Brickell has found herself separate from the other heroes after a large 'natural disaster', Now finding herself in this strange battleground alongside her ship, Brickell vows to aid her new allies. Just as long as no bloons show up, everything should be fine...

@TheHighTower : - Your character will need to have a resistance, as well. (As stated: You cannot have less than 1)
@Malware : - In terms of AGONY CREATION, I feel like I technically shouldn't allow this because of the 1 character limit but... It's temporary, so... I? Don't know? Probably should increase WE or decrease how many turns it lasts, though, since I may need to apply a rule similar to my Area of Effect rule for this; See Post #4. - AGONY DRAIN exceeds the damage limit for 2 WE (being 30); Suggesting to increase to 6 WE (limit 60).
Everyone else seems to be fine, so nothing left to say but, get ready to kick and take names.

A portal from The Void pops open, and out comes what looks to be an amalgamation of Earth-type robot masters, though part of the upper head is missing, as is the right arm. The robot in question surveys the area.
(Not sure what happened here. All that's left are the usual signs of universal erasure. Perhaps an Arc Villain managed to win for once?) (I'm pretty sure Tachyos was on a planet searching for something on Planet Darkhollow. Wans't it called the "Anarchy Lung" or something like that? And- not that I care about him, mind you- did Tachyos make it out unscathed...?) (Oh, who am I kidding, this is Ali Tachyos we're talking about here, of COURSE he was able to book it in time.)
