What's with this sudden "cloud trend"?

There seems to be a trend of sorts where people change their profiles to things that have to do with clotds, but I have no idea why people are doing this, can someone please explain to me?
What's with this sudden "cloud trend"?

Hey all! It was just a joke from the Discord, no worries. Some people noticed multiple Cloud Man avatars online at once and then decided to cause a storm by changing their avatars to Cloud Man as well. It's over now though, as far as I'm aware. :P

EDIT: I just wanna be clear that there are no cults here. Clubs maybe. Lol.
