So, I've had a brilliant idea for another forum game.

This one is inspired by GameFAQs character Battle tournaments, where users would vote for their favorite characters in an elimination tournament when the characters with the lowest votes would get knocked out, and those with the higher votes would advance to the next round.

They'd have a nomination period where users could nominate ANY video game character [save for superheroes like Spider-man, and real people], and those with the mose nominations would be randomly put with another character where they'd "do battle". The character with the most votes goes on, and the lower scored is eliminated, and on it goes until only one character remains.

Now, my idea is that we first nominate characters from the MM universe [that is, MM characters from any official MM game] to "do battle" in an elimination tournament just like GameFAQs' Character Battles. those with the most eliminations will enter the tourney. We all vote for our favorite characters in this tourney, and the winners advance further and further until only our favorites remain, who will do battle to be champion.

I haven't decided if there will be 32, 64 or 128 characters in this tourney, yet, but, when I've decided, you'll know. [EDIT: Decided on 11/21--there'll be 64 characters.]

First things first, we have to make nominations for who'll be IN the tourney. When you post, you can nominate ANY 25 official MM characters from any of the 8 main series [that's Classic, World, X, BN, Legends, Star Force, Zero and ZX] that you want to. The more nominations a character has, the more likely it is they'll be in the PMMCT.

No Mega Man nominations. I'm already planning on having Mega Man, Mega Man X, Mega Man Volnutt, MegaMan.EXE, and MegaMan [Star Force] in the Tourney.
No repeat nominations, either; one nomination per character in your post, pleaseandthankyou.
PLEASE only list a maximum of 25 characters, as well.

Other than that, nominate away. The tournament will commence as soon as possible on Thanksgiving (November 26).
