Based on Copyie's old Fighting Game Thread, this one is designed with a storyline. (Though, the only interaction you guys will be able to have would be with said story is who will be a part of it, and even then there's no real guarantee they will be.)

STORY:
A new source of power, known as the Ultra Gems, have been noticed worldwide. Many people wish to obtain them all for different reasons: Greed, to get stronger, for research, or to destroy them. However, with so many people fighting over them, it has been decided to hold a tournament... And the winner gets to keep all the Ultra Gems. There are 6 different kinds of Ultra Gems: Power, Defense, Speed, Intelligence, Skill, and Recovery.

But, just where did these Ultra Gems come from? Perhaps this tournament will reveal all in a way nobody would ever suspect...
The Ultra Gems, despite being the ones fought for in the game, are usable in-game as power-ups, like the Infinity Stones from MvC Infinity, except they don't have any form of extra attack. Here are the effects below in case you are curious:
None- Fight without the help of an Ultra Gem.
Power- Increases attack power.
Defense- Decreases damage taken and removes flinching and knockback.
Speed- Increases movement speed.
Intelligence- Creates a duplicate of your character to deal extra damage as well as use of a meat shield.
Skill- Reduces end lag for better combos.
Recovery- Gives the character health regeneration.

Game Modes:

Freeplay Mode - Choose a fighter, choose your opponent, choose a stage, and have fun. You can also turn on Practice Mode to hone your skills with a character.

Online Mode - Play with other players around the world. (Yes, we have rollback.)

Classic Mode - You battle against 6 fighters that are randomly chosen based off of a pattern of the six fighting styles: Power, Defense, Speed, Intelligence, Skill, and Recovery, starting from your own character's fighting style. After the third match is a random Boss battle, and after the sixth match is a randomized Rival battle, followed by a final battle against ???????.

Arcade Mode - Same as Classic Mode, except all of the battles are predetermined based on the selected character. (Arcade Mode matches list coming eventually)

Story Mode - A story-based campaign centered around the origins of the Ultra Gems, and the mission of a mysterious robot who seeks them out... But the question is, is this robot friend or foe?

All modes, aside from Story Mode, are playable with 1v1, 2v2, and 3v3 battles.

Hey, you know how I said I'd do an actual character later?

Well, as it turns out, I've already got one ready. And due to the whole "OC -> Official Mega Man Character -> Repeat" rotation I've been doing, I figured I'd actually break the cycle by doing ANOTHER OC...

...Except this time, it isn't mine.

Heavy Special: Disco Flail - Crushes the target with a disco ball.

Hyper Attack: Energy Assault - Disco drains the target’s HP. Hits for every 10% Disco lost, up to 60%.
Ultra Attack: Reggae Bomber - Reggae flies across the screen and drops Anti-Tanks everywhere, damaging and poisoning the enemy upon contact. The Anti-Tanks disappear on their own after 5 seconds.
Omega Attack: Heart Breaker - Disco summons a large disco ball that rains small lasers upon the field before unleashing three larger beams upon both sides and the middle. Enemies hit with any of the three lasers have their Attack, Defense, and Speed weakened temporarily.

That said, Disco wouldn’t truly believe that Dr. Wily would rely on her to compete and win in the tournament, but it seems the doctor wishes to expand his chances at winning to as great of a degree as he can, considering the growing competition...

(What if there was a thread in Roleplay that makes a fighting game out of the characters used here?)
Anyways, I'll give this a shot, if you don't mind.
Character Sheet:

Basic Info
Name: Data
Fighting Style: Intelligence
Classification: Time-Traveling Data Robot

Punches
Normal Punch: Data Load- Loads ANY normal punch attack and uses it till the end of the brawl, but at 3/4 its power.
Heavy Punch: Activates Attack/Defense/Speed Mode for 10 seconds, multiplying the chosen trait by 4, but dividing the others by 2.
Low Punch: Time Travel - Disappears for a second and reappears behind the target, or erases 2 of the target's Special Bars. The latter costs 1 Special Bar and a 5-second cooldown to everything...
Midair Punch: Data Load but with Midair Punches instead of normal ones

Kicks
Normal Kick: Data Drain- Kick the target wig a slow kick dealing almost no damage, but has a 1 in 3 chance to steal a Special Bar. Has a 1-second endlag.
Heavy Kick: Consecutive Kick- Starts off weak and slow, but everytime you hit with it, gets slightly faster and more powerful. Can hit up to 3 times.
Low Kick: Trip-Trips the target, leaving them immbile for 1.1 seconds.
Midair Kick: Same as Heavy Kick, but can only hit once. However has half the endlag.

Special
Normal Special: Charges for 5 seconds. Leaves you open but 3/4 chance that it gives you 1 Power Gauge Bar.
Heavy Special: Chronostone- Summons a purple stone that stays exactly where you summoned it. It boosts your speed as long as it's there, but it can be attacked and destroyed.
Low Special: Shadow Dash- Give sthe Cloaked status effect and rapidly dashes across the room. Cloaked gives a 50% chance to dodge any attack. Cloaked is removed when the dash is ended.

Power Gauge
Hyper Attack: Paradox Erase- Loads of damage cyber-spatial punch. (1 Bar)
Ultra Attack: Lightspeed Impact- Extremely powerful attack whose power is calculated by Speed and multiplied by amount of Chronostones. With about 5 chronostones, you can hitkill most enemies! (2 Bars)
Omega Attack: Dimensional Shaker- Self-explanatory, especially if you've played TTC. (3 Bars, can be used for Transformation)
Transformation Omega Attack: No Purpose- Mysterious transformation only accessible after you finish the game. THREE TIMES. IN THE HARDEST DIFFICULTY. It boosts your attack tremendously, same to your accuracy. (3 Bars, Transformations only)

Taunt Animation: Scans the area with a visor for all the info within it.

Had this finished days ago, but something forced me to start from zero...

Special
Normal Special: Quark Beam - Fires fast particle beams at the opponent.
Heavy Special: Hyper Flare - Does a solar-powered vertical/horizantal/diagonal dashing punch, which on hit knocks the user airborne.
Low Special: Space Orb - Shoots out a black ball of nothingness, sluggishly homing towards the opponent. the ball can amass a certain amount of damage before it dissipates, having high priority.

Power Gauge
Hyper Attack: Sagitta Slasher - Soul hits the target with a damaging combo of electric kicks, finishing them off with a reverse roundhouse.
Ultra Attack: Hypergiant Destruction - Soul, with one large Hyper Flare, decks the opponent with a single hit. Knocks the opponent out of their guard if their stun gauge is high enough.
Omega Attack: Limbo Crush - Soul sends a much stronger Space Orb towards the opponent. On hit sends all targets into limbo, where they are crushed my the realm's infinite weight, racking up major damage.

Taunt Animation: Removes cap and dusts himself off, putting it back on later.

Miscallaneous
Bio: Equipped with a complicated origin, and the gift of gab, Soul is an aloof robot that tends to prefer lazing around over doing anything of real importance. In his possession is the alternate plane of reality known as "Limbo" that allows him to warp from to and fro, as well as manipulate said dimension however he wants. Although Soul has a tendency to take things easy, he has a dangerous side triggered only when his anger is aroused. He joined the tournamnet solely for the purpose of self-entertainment, but perhaps there's more in store for him than he thinks...?

Ending:
Well.. I suppose it was kinda fun beating the crud outta so many people... but now it's just boring. These little Ultra-Doo Hickies don't seem worth the hassle...
Why'd I even participate, anyway!? Everyone knows Tournament Arcs here are dumb. They either don't work out or don't happen. It's a lost cause from the start.
You know what? Screw this. I'm done with this stupid plot, and I'm done with these stupid plot rocks. I'm done!

Soul walks into the nearest alley and tosses all six Ultra Gems inside a dumpster, kicking said dumpster into the deepest, darkest parks and then walking away...

Come to think of it... I'm not even supposed to be here! It makes no sense chronologically! This whole thing was a stupid...

Seconds after Soul's departure, a rumbling noise happens from within the dumpster Soul threw the Gems into... and a figure peers its head right out.

...
*Technically there's already a "Soul", but that's from a legacy player, so I doubt there'll be much argument over who is who.

Again, more clues as to the next character in the quotes. If you know, you know.

I'll add in a few bonuses once I've gotten at least one character for every type of Ultra Gem (4/6).

Punches
Normal Punch: Insta-Punch - Deals almost no damage, but as the name says, it's instant, so it can be combo'd with another move or spammed for nice combos.
Heavy Punch: Attack with both of your arms at once to stun yiur enemy for 0.4 seconds. This time is more valuable than you think, as this actually diubles the damage of your next punch or kick.
Low Punch: Shadow Upper - Crouches, then when your opponent is near, strikes him to the chest with a low-damage uppercut that sends him flying into the air. When he lands, grab him and use another attack.
Midair Punch: Dashes and stabs a kunai onto the opponent for heavy damage. This can also be used for fast movement on the air, since you air-dash to any of the 8 directions.

Kicks
Normal Kick: Spinning Kick - Hits twice, causing some good damage.
Heavy Kick: Kicks the opponent upwards to send him flying, grabs him midair, slams him on the floor and backdashes to take distance.
Low Kick: Shadow Slide - Can move very fast with this, dodge attacks if sliding backward, and deals small contact damage and stun.
Midair Kick: Crescent Kick - 360 spinkick on the air that can be used as a double jump, and if it hits an enemy, it sends you upwards ready to strike again and again.

Normal Special: Shadow Blade(s) - Sends a shadow blade at your enemy. Double damage if hits the head, launches an additional blade upwards, and both blades can hit if using this close-up.

I ain't letting this thread die yet... In fact, I'm pumping it full of more life than ever! (Or at least more than it ever had since February/March 2021)

And what better way to do it... Than with a slight rebranding?
Introducing...


Now, I know what you're probably thinking:

"Golly, Beta! That logo sure is atrocious! But with this whole rebranding, what's different?"

Well,

- To make the SFR's Heavy and Low specials actually work, the effect of the Skill Ultra Gem will be altered; It's original purpose- making Heavy, Low, and Normal Specials work based off of input- shall now be a part of the basic gameplay. (Well, hypothetically speaking.)
- There will now be a proper Character Select roster on the main post, displaying "all" of the characters that have been made on this thread. Just something I think will be neat.
  - Note: Some characters made prior to Jazz + have been left unlisted; If the original creators of their characters would like to have   their characters listed, they may request this. Same goes for anyone who would like any of their characters removed.
  - Note 2: This does not include boss characters such as Valgas and Bugzzy, who were made with the intention of not being   playable.
- There will eventually three different "Game Modes": Classic Mode, which chooses fighters at random based on typing, Arcade Mode, which is the same as Classic but with set characters depending on the player character, and Story Mode, which will center around the actual story of the Ultra Gems and their origins. (And yes, those are the canon gem designs on the logo.)
  - The endings we made for our characters will be the endings for the Classic and Arcade Modes, while the Story Mode will have   its own, well, story, and thus its own ending.
  - Note: I will not be working on Story Mode until I make/release the moveset for two particular characters... You won't know who   they are, however, until I make them, and I plan on saving them as the last of my currently planned characters. So, don't cross   your fingers just yet.

Other than that? Nothing, really. However, I did add some new things to my earlier characters:

- Added a ton of new palette swaps. (Note: You do NOT have to make as many as mine. Hell, you don't even have to give your character a mugshot.)
- New alternate outfit + ending for Ninja Man: Ninja Man Ψ (and his Pirate Armor variant)
- New alternate outfit + ending for Sergeant Man: Discorded Sergeant (and his Rememberance variant)
- New alternate outfits + ending for Jazz MKII: J-H Reborn and Synth (of which the latter gets the ending)
- New alternate outfit for Jazz +: Finalem
- New alternate outfits and ending for Mega Man: Helmetless and Bad Box Art (of which the latter gets the ending)
- New alternate outfit for Missingno.: Missingno. +
- Bass' Super Bass transformation is now downplayed into the Treble Boost transformation.
- New alternate outfit for Techno: Techno +
- Fixed the broken image for one of Beta Shadow's attacks
- New alternate outfit for Proto Man: Break Man
- New ending for Mega Devil, Bass Devil, and Proto Devil; Featured on Proto Man's post.
- New alternate outfit for Roll: Heart Suit.
- New alternate outfits for Disco: Pretty Dress, Power Suit

Intro Animation 1: Alicia was asleep while breathing in and out before waking up to battle and standing like a knight.
Intro Animation 2: Alicia plays on her phone before putting it in the pocket and yawns, gesturing the opponents to fight her
Intro Animation 3: Alicia growls at an opponent angrily while showing her completion corruption in her eyes in brief way, probably in fact that even she was restored back to normal by Thomas.
Victory Animation 1: Alicia turns around which it makes her outside colour eye go white to black, looking at the viewer before revealing that she had remaining corruption particles inside her system
Victory Animation 2: Alicia falls asleep on the ground, feeling very tired after a battle
Victory Animation 3: Alternatively, Alicia gets unintentionally corrupted completely by the corruption power and laughs in not so evil way.

Bio: First appeared in Battle Bomb Survival original as the protagonist of the series where Alicia would fight against Barracuda and his right hand sidekicks as she would go adventuring through out the perilous journey in her life alongside with her siblings like Ella (who's the mother of Elemental siblings). But there was one time that Alicia was knocked out by a Stealth Elemental villain named Peril before being brought back to the lab and the villains like Pearl brainwashed her and made her do the biddings for them until she was defeated not too long by Thomas who restored her back to normal.
Ending: Alicia goes back to the Battle Bomb Survival timeline (Before whole Mega Man series was a thing), went back to save the world from Barracuda's neverending reign with the help of Elemental Guardians. Later years, Maya became the new leader where Alicia would go stop her
